“It is not enough to be busy. So are ants. The question is: What are we busy about?” — Henry David Thoreau
Stark Facts
Since the start of the Iraq War, it has cost the American taxpayer almost 2 billion dollars a week. That comes to $177,000+ a minute! Experts say the total cost of the war could exceed 2 trillion dollars.
The saddest part of this war is the human cost. American military losses are to date: 4,171 killed and over 100,000 wounded. Iraqi civilian deaths are at 1,267,400 and still climbing.
Isn't it time to find a better way to settle global differences?
